The governor and president of the Departmental Civil Protection Commission of Morazán, David Mauricio Sorto and the vice governor, Brayan Aparicio, ordered and participated in a cleaning day that took place on the banks of the San Francisco River, which crosses San Francisco Gotera, Department of Morazán.
During the day, he highlighted the work carried out by the members of Civil Protection and the staff of the mayor’s office of the San Francisco Gotera district.
A large amount of solid waste was collected, especially bottles, bags, spoons, forks and plastic plates. Also, cans, cardboard and old clothes.
It was explained that these actions are intended to provide the population with clean spaces and thereby prevent the spread of gastrointestinal diseases.
