Mitsotakis from Tinos: Our thoughts on the weak and the uniformed – 2024-05-06 09:06:06

From Tinos, which he visited for the Orthodox Easter holidays, Kyriakos Mitsotakis sent his wishes.

A few hours before the church bells signaled the Resurrection, the Greek Prime Minister spoke of “hope, strength and optimism”pointing out however that his thinking is on the one hand “to our weakest fellow citizens”because “they need our support”, and on the other hand “to all our crew”who are “fighting to keep us all safe”.

Mr. Mitsotakis said in detail in his Easter message:

“As Holy Week draws to a close, the anticipation of the Resurrection fills us all with hope, strength and optimism.

Tradition dictates that we spend these Holy Easter days together with our loved ones. Our thoughts, however, must go primarily to our weakest fellow citizens, those who more than ever these days need our support, but also to all and all of our servants, those who night and day, and on these Holy days , are fighting to keep each and every one of us safe.

Here, from Megalochari of Tinos, this island so important for our Orthodoxy, I want to wish every Greek woman, every Greek man, wherever they are, a happy Easter and a happy Easter. Happy Birthday”.
