The singer Miroslav Imrich, who played in the rock band Abraxas or the group Tango, has died. He was 71 years old. From Abraxasu Migration he joined in 1977 shortly after the creation of this non-conformist group, which experienced its most famous period in the first half of the 80s of the last century.

As a result of a disagreement with the band Slávek Janda, Imrich left Abraxas in 1983. He founded his own Tango group, which was very successful in Czechoslovakia at that time. It fell apart before the November Revolution.

Later, Imrich sang in the metal band Alarm, founded the dance Imrich Tekknofactory and the ensemble called Factory. In 1994, he started playing again with Abraxas, with whom they recorded the albums Sado maso and Rituál with the hits Obžíčnej svět no Karel drogy nebere.

“He recorded the last album with Abraxas in 2009, it was called Head in the Clouds. However, his collaboration with the band broke up again due to personal differences,” said Honza Vedral .

Since 2007, Imrich has been playing with the revived Tang, with whom he had several concerts planned this year as well.
