What do Facebook, Barbie, cheese arches, Nike dojos and Tetris have in common? Well, they have all become material for major Hollywood productions. Now that Jerry Seinfeld has made a film about the jam-filled breakfast favorite Pop-tarts, it’s easy to wonder: how many brand films can we really handle?
Tove Norström thinks that the film, which is called “Unfrosted – The Pop-tart story” and is shown on Netflix, succeeds in the art of not being funny at all, despite the fact that it gathered a whole heap of America’s funniest people. Andreas Hörmark has seen the Swedish Amazon Prime series “Sthlm blackout” with, among others, Jerka Johansson, and is happy that journalists finally get to be the heroes in a detective series.
