Tom Brady’s Birmingham City Relegated to Third Division

For American football legend Tom Brady, his first investment in football has paid off. Traditional English club Birmingham City, whose shareholders include the seven-time Super Bowl champion, was relegated to the third division for the first time in 29 years the year after for Brady to enter.

“Thank you for your support in a difficult first year. We still have a long way to go, but thanks to all of you we will do great things in the future,” Brady wrote on X. US firm Knighthead Capital Management holds the majority of the LLC club, with which Brady had entered into a partnership.

Birmingham have had a rollercoaster season with three managers – including long-serving international Wayne Rooney, who had to leave after just two wins in 15 games. On the last day of the game, even a victory against Norwich City was of no use, together with Rotherham and Huddersfield Town we went into the third division.
