Campillo was looking for the crown for several years, achieving this dream on May 4.
“Glory and honor to God because it is a dream come true, thanks to my friends and family who supported me and all those who support this tradition,” Campillo told him the audience present in the Leyenda Vallenata park.
Along with Jaime Luis on the box was José Murgas and on the guacharaca by Jaider Daza.

SUMMER
The final boxers qualified in the semi-final held at the Fair Livestock Pedro Castro Monsalvo coliseum.
It was a surprise on the day to knock out Juan David ‘El Pollito’ Herrera, who was among the favorites to compete for the King of Vallenato crown, as he did in 1996 when he was a winner.
