Italian pasta consolidates its international leadership

Finally, in terms of per capita consumption, in 25 years the number of countries where more than one kilogram of pasta is eaten per year has almost doubled. Compared to the 23 kilograms/year consumed by Italians, 17 are consumed in Tunisia, 15 in Venezuela, 12.2 in Greece, 9.9 in Peru, 9.6 in Chile, 8.8 in the United States, and in Turkey 8.7, in Iran 8.5, in France 8.3 and in Germany 7.9.
