The silly blog
Mauricio Pochettino hangs loose at Chelsea after a fiasco-like season.
Recently, coaches such as Rúben Amorim (Sporting) and Roberto De Zerbi (Brighton) have been placed in the big club in case of a possible change at the post. But now there is information that claims that there are others who are better off.
Bild claims that Hansi Flick is a “strong candidate” for the Chelsea job. According to the information, “The Blues” are very interested in the German and the parties should have been in contact about a joint future as early as 2021, but then the 59-year-old declined.
And the interest is mutual. The newspaper further writes that Flick is more than happy to train in the Premier League and has his sights set on taking over a top six team when the opportunity arises.
Flick is currently without an assignment after having to leave his job as national team captain in the German men’s national team. Previously, he successfully coached Bayern Munich.
