The General Directorate of Energy, Hydrocarbons and Mines (DGEHM) announced that the prices of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinder, which will have a drop in this month of May.
According to the DGEHM, the reduction in prices is due to the increase in exports from the United States and the reserves it has.
For this, the gas cylinder with general subsidy will have the following prices:
- 35 pounds for $15.50.
- 25 pounds at $11.13.
- 20 pounds for $8.98.
- 10 pounds at $4.61.
In the case of a targeted subsidy, they will be the following:
- 35 pounds for $7.46.
- 25 pounds for $3.09.
- 20 pounds at $0.94.
- 10 pounds for $0.00.
“We will continue to inspect compliance with prices and the correct weight of cylinders in all points of sale nationwide, taking care of the pockets of Salvadorans,” commented the DGEHM.
