The Salvadoran maxi-basketball teams were invited to the Master Basketball Association (MBA) to participate for the first time in the Made Madness 2024 of the National Master Championship, which will take place in the United States from May 6 to 11. According to the National Sports Institute of El Salvador (INDES), the basketball teams will participate for the first time in the National Masters Championship tournament, for which the athletes received the national flag from the institute prior to their trip to Florida. , USA.

Antonieta Garay, president of the league, assured that despite their age they maintain an active sports spirit.
“We are going with all the enthusiasm as always, we have prepared ourselves physically and mentally to be able to give our best performance. Even at our age we continue to maintain that sportsmanship spirit and the discipline that our coaches instilled in us since our beginnings in basketball,” said Garay.
The Salvadoran flag will be represented by two female delegations in the 40 years + category and one in the 50 years + category and one in the male delegation in the 40 years + category.
