According to the analysis, in which the Peruvian Taxpayers Association participated on behalf of Peru, our country occupies the penultimate place in the ranking, only above Paraguay, in terms of the time dedicated by companies to comply with the procedures associated with its operation. On average, a Peruvian company dedicates 2,316 hours a year to attend to state procedures, which is equivalent to more than 3 full months of work for one person.
For this reason, the Adam Smith Center of Economic Freedom, the Peruvian Taxpayers Association and the American Chamber of Commerce – AmCham are pleased to invite you to the presentation of the Ibero-American Barriers to Economic Freedom Index 2023, a study that analyzes the impact of state bureaucratic procedures in the agility, innovation and growth of companies in 17 Latin American countries, including Peru.
The event will feature the participation of prominent speakers, including Carlos Díaz, Founding Director of the Adam Smith Center for Economic Freedom, Adriana Tudela, Congressman of the Republic and Jose Ignacio Beteta, president of the Taxpayers Association of Peru.
