Congratulations on the Day of the border guard of Ukraine
Military personnel of the State Border Service of Ukraine are celebrating their professional holiday today. Back in 2014, our defenders in green berets had a difficult mission to be the first to meet the enemy who was lining up for their brother. The state border of Ukraine with occupying Russia stretched almost two thousand kilometers. These are kilometers of fire attacks and sabotage raids. This is constant vigilance and readiness to take the blow and repel the enemy. Border guards stand as a wall and protect the peace of all Ukrainians.
The citizens of Zaporozhye gratefully congratulate all those who stood and are standing guard over the frontiers of our country. Who ensures order and passage across the border, which is no less important in the conditions of a full-scale war, and who is currently fighting in the ranks of the Armed Forces. Let military brotherhood and family warmth be your talismans in times of need, give you the strength to serve and win. We believe that Ukraine will regain control over its eastern state border. The price of protecting one’s territory is very high. To each of the border guards who died, but remained faithful to their military duty – our memory and respect.
