Limited Mimona: at “Yildi Sagi and Yaakov” they celebrated the Mimona with the guest of honor Rabbi Chaim Amsili, the emissary of the Torah greats, a member of the city council who promised to stand to the right of the institutions

With the departure of the seventh day of Passover, at the youth center “The Children of Sagi and Jacob” celebrated the Mimona as a permanent tradition for many years. This year, due to the situation in which the nation of Israel is in the midst of a war and kidnapped Jews dying in captivity, they reduced the celebrations, but held blessings and Torah words around the custom of the Mimouna among Moroccans.

The evening was opened by Rabbi Ilan Guzel, rabbi of the youth center “Yaldi Sagi and Yaakov” who wrote a special book encompassing all the customs of the Mimona called “Laylan Rih” and in his words he gave reasons why the holiday is called the Mimona and what was practiced in many communities on this evening.

The guest of the evening was the emissary of the Torah greats, Rabbi Haim Amsili, a Torah Education Commissioner and a member of the city council who was received with great respect and appreciation for his great and extensive activities for the public for many years in all fields and especially in the last month for the general public in various activities and events for the general public.

In his words, he gave emotional speeches and congratulated all the hundreds of participants in “Enjoy and Dine” and said that he is excited every time to visit the “Yaldi Sagi and Yaakov” youth center to see the important activity in the place for the young people in the city, it is a place that connects everyone, and he told the public that the place is too small to accommodate all who come The rabbi promised that he would work together with the Honorable Mayor Dr. Yehiel Lasri for the well-being of the place for all the young people who participate in the important activities that take place here throughout the year.

The pleasant evening with poetry and poetry by Rabbi Yehuda Moyal together with crowd pleaser Shimon Regev who delighted the participants.

On the central table was placed a huge tray with a large fish with vegetable leaves next to it, a bowl of “zaban”, coconut cookies of all colors, while in the center came piles of honey-dipped mufflets one after the other, which Rabbi Ilan Gozel distributed to all those who came with the blessing “Tarbachu vatsado”.

Rabbi Ilan Gozel thanked from the bottom of his heart Rabbi Chaim Amsili, who is a faithful messenger, who for years has proven himself in important public activities for the benefit of the public, and now, after receiving the trust of the public with senior positions, he has already acted and done for the benefit of the public, from here we all bless him that he will continue to succeed In his important role, he will go above and beyond for the entire public.
