BELGIUM :: Exclusive: negotiations are ongoing between the Bas and the Cameroonian embassy in Brussels :: BELGIUM

According to camer.be information, the two parties are expected to meet soon. The date of May 1, 2024 has even been brought forward for this unprecedented meeting. We have not yet been told where that meeting is. However, the diplomatic authorities based at the Cameroonian embassy in Brussels will receive a delegation of two or even three representatives from the BAS for an open discussion according to our well-connected sources.

The punch shook diplomatic authorities

We remember that several members of the BASS made a “hit campaign” last Friday at the main offices of the Cameroonian embassy in Brussels. The violent images then made the rounds on social networks. “The Belgian commando sent by the embassy on Friday requests that registrations be opened for Cameroonians in the diaspora on the electoral lists for the 2025 elections,” he told us an attacker who requested anonymity.
He continues: “We received support from the directors Sandy Boston who made the trip from Great Britain and General Wanto who came from France for the event. »

Violence or stress?

When asked about the violence of the events that took place on Avenue Brugmann on Friday, our correspondent denies: “we are for the Pacific Resistance. We have requested a meeting with the ambassador again to express our requests to him personally. He never answered our outstretched hand. So, we did a punch operation on Friday with the aim of meeting the ambassador in his office to finally start the conversation. »

Then he defends the BASS: “When we entered our embassy, and this is our right because we are Cameroonians, we were violently pushed back by the security service and Belgian police called for reinforcements. We did not act by incitement, or by violence. We are putting pressure on the Cameroonian authorities to open registration on the electoral lists and to give Cameroonians time to register according to the law. ”

Our correspondent finally explained to us that a Cameroonian citizen who was unable to identify himself had his passport revoked by embassy staff; a torn passport then “was the straw that broke the camel’s back” according to the Bass members. This event that took place in the embassy building would be a simple combination of circumstances. The victim is not related to Bass to our knowledge.

La Bass promises to organize a big public show on May 18 in Paris, France.
