Why can’t I get rid of my fatigue no matter how much I rest? Hideki Katano, who has been studying rest for many years and is the representative director of the Japan Rehabilitation Society, says, “If you just work again, rest when you grow tired,” you come back to the end. activity without being able to recharge your body even after resting “It is not sustainable. In addition to rest, it is good to add one more element to combat fatigue before moving on to the next activity.” (1st session / 3 sessions in total)

Get out of the cycle of “activity → fatigue → rest”
We can’t say we get enough rest. If you look at the way we rest today, it seems that we go through three stages: “Activity → Fatigue → Rest” (Figure 1).
What do you mean.
We go to work or school and do activities such as work or study. Some people may work from home, while others do housework, caregiving or childcare.
Naturally, doing these activities will make you tired (tired).
When I feel tired, I rest (relax).
And I will be active again.
In this way, we usually repeat these three elements.
But I would like to add one more element here. What is that? Please think about it too.
I often ask people questions like this.
“What do you think is a word for tired?”
Most people answer, “Are you resting?”
But unfortunately it is not a break.
Unable to return to 100% fully charged state.
Let’s compare the cycle of activity → fatigue → rest to a rechargeable smartphone battery. As you become more active and tired, the capacity of the battery decreases. However, rest allows them to recharge and become active again.
If you can return to a fully charged state of 100% with rest, there is no problem with this. However, as you probably know by now, 80% of Japanese people are bored, so this is not true. Today, if we do things the right way, it is not sustainable.
The truth is, even if you take a break, you cannot fully recharge your batteries before returning to activity. My guess is that Japanese people today cannot recharge their batteries by about 50% even after resting. As I continued to work, it went down to about 20%, and with a little rest I got back to 50%, and then I started working again… This just continued to tire us out leave more tired.
In addition to rest, we recommend adding one more element to combat fatigue before moving on to the next activity.
