Exclusive Investigation: Lukashenko Building Luxurious Residence Near Sochi – Details Revealed

A private company associated with the self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is building a large residence with a hotel, restaurant complex and cabins in the mountains near Sochi.

Details: The residence is reportedly located in the village of Krasnaya Polyana and will be truly luxurious – walls made of monolithic reinforced concrete, golden door handles, swimming pools, kitchens, restaurants, office personal and “strong-armed security.”

BELPOL has received the design documents from the group of companies Krasnodargrazhdanproekt, which is building the residence. The construction plan includes 12 items with a total area of ​​7,374 square meters. m on a plot of more than 97,248 square meters. A third of the building’s area is occupied by the “main building” object, designed for the owner.

The main building will have a dressing room, banquet hall, cold and hot kitchen, dining room, lounge, bathroom (adapted for people with reduced mobility), cinema, security and his work office.

On the underground floor there is a swimming pool, a Russian and Turkish bath, a massage room, a fitness room, a security room, a laundry room, a waiting room and even a ski room.

At the top of the property there is a living room with an area of ​​62 square meters and a 20-meter bathroom. Two smaller bedrooms of 36 sq. m each, and the main one 55 meters.

Three VIP houses are designed under the main building – 730 sq m each. m each. One of them is adapted for people with limited mobility. Equipped with swimming pools, dining room, three bedrooms and so on.

There is also a hotel on the site map that has only four rooms with an area of ​​348 square meters. m. There is an underground floor – for employees. On the ground floor there is a corridor, toilets and a reception area, as well as a 74-meter dining room for 24 people. On the second there are four numbers, each 48 squares.

There is also a restaurant complex on site, more than a hotel. Sports infrastructure, checkpoint, garage and security building with six beds in recreation area and room for weapons.

BELPOL believes that the new building is being built for Lukashenko, as his closest partners and “wallets” are involved in the buy, sell and build scheme.

Belsat assumes that Lukashenko will use this estate after leaving the office of president – voluntary or compulsory. And Lukashenko apparently decided to build a residence outside Belarus after the elections and subsequent protests in 2020.

Investigators say they are building the residence “quietly, through a construction company, behind a high fence, and they are afraid that information about the reason will not get into the media.”
