/ world today news/ Today our country again faces a choice! Bulgaria is turning from a country into a geographical territory. The oligarchy and its wards of the political class for 30 years have caused the appalling inequality and poverty that ranks us last in Europe in all indicators of human development and continue to lead the country to severe crises, collapse and loss of statehood and are an example of universal flight from responsibility. The country desperately needs a true leftist and patriotic alternative.
We, the representatives of left and patriotic formations united in the “Left Union for a Pure and Holy Republic” will fight:
– to protect the Fatherland from the looming deadly threat, so that it may survive!
– to protect the Constitution for a social, legal, democratic and sovereign Bulgaria.
– to free the country from the nomenklatura-comprador oligarchy born of the transition, which abuses the institutions to the detriment of the citizens. We promise that we will not compromise with the robbers of Bulgaria!
– We are the true patriots of the homeland and we will defend Bulgarian national sovereignty against any external encroachments and internal betrayals.
– We will work decisively to restore the dignity of the people of wage labor and of the enterprising Bulgarians who create jobs.
– We follow our socialist ideals of justice, solidarity, freedom, democracy, patriotism, responsibility and integrity and for peace.
– We are against the global offensive against jobs and living standards.
– We are against the intolerable worsening of inequalities between the “golden billion” and the rest of the world.
– We are for a Pure and Holy Republic, in which the rights of the individual, humanism in human relationships and the dignity of everyone are guaranteed, and we will fight:
TO PROTECT THE FREEDOMS AND RIGHTS OF THE CITIZENS AND THE PARLIAMENTARY REPUBLIC
Defending FREEDOMS against “unchecked power through fear”.
Protection of the RIGHTS to life and health, to privacy, to protection from any unlawful harassment.
Defense of PARLIAMENTARISM against “creeping authoritarianism, and to protect the last constitutional institution with confidence – THE PRESIDENTIAL – from internal and external provocations and temptations!”
For freedom of speech – without the misunderstood political correctness, without fake news and without hidden public information.
For democratic governance of the state with active citizen participation through direct democracy, carried out through national and local referenda on all issues important to society.
For fair and accessible justice for everyone, regardless of their place in society. For a fair administration of justice that punishes theft, robbery, corruption and crimes against the person.
We are against the arbitrariness of the parasitic bureaucracy that harasses citizens of all professions and companies. We are for a decisive reform of the state administration and for a small, highly professional and responsible administration.
TO PROTECT THE BULGARIAN NATION FROM DEFINITION
To return to the Bulgarian citizens the feeling of a community with its history, with national ideals, aspirations and goals.
To assert our right to be a free and proud millennial nation – to choose our own friends and denounce our enemies.
To preserve our authentic history, to preserve our national traditions and to return to the younger generations the knowledge of our national heroes and fighters for national liberation.
We are against the further degradation of the general education system by separating education from upbringing; against the one-sided formation of children as “citizens of the world”, but not patriotic and Bulgaria-loving patriots; We will bring back patriotic themes and love for the motherland in the Bulgarian school!
To preserve the traditional Bulgarian family, relying on the Orthodox identity and connecting it with social ideas for stopping the demographic collapse and for the reproduction of our nation.
For the development of spirituality, modern culture and morals – above all in education, culture and the media.
We will fight against simplification in human communication and against the penetration of gender ideology in Bulgaria!
TO CREATE A MODERN TECHNOLOGICAL AND SOCIALIZED ECONOMY:
Not the post-economy. For economic growth based on a real economy and leading to employment, jobs and decent incomes.
For an economy based on entrepreneurship, responsibility and fair competition; An economy regulated by the state through laws that ensure a stable, long-lasting and predictable competitive business environment.
For a new industrial modernization that will bring Bulgaria back among the developed European countries and stop the “brain drain” and national income from the country.
For the return of the state in structure-determining state enterprises in priority industries and in risky technological sectors.
No to the green deal and against the new wave of deindustrialization that the green sectarians are imposing in Europe.
For resolute protection of Bulgarian energy and industry, infrastructure, international transport and international tourism.
For more state in the national security sectors; in the sectors providing social policy, education policy, health care and social care.
For a change in the sizes and thresholds for supporting agricultural producers, which will stimulate the creation of competitive small and medium-sized farms.
For the protection of agricultural lands and the restoration of irrigation systems, the preservation of Bulgarian nature, protection from logging and the restoration of Bulgarian forests.
We will not allow state property to be a feeder for politically protected persons and a conduit for corruption in society. We will enforce responsible and efficient management of state property and enterprises in the interest of all citizens.
FOR JUSTICE AND DIGNITY FOR WORKING PEOPLE AND ENTERPRISING BULGARIANS
To support and encourage working people to have a chance to succeed with education, with qualifications, with responsibility, with persistence in work and with adequate income.
To support entrepreneurial and socially responsible national capital that takes risks and creates goods and jobs.
To stimulate local small and medium-sized businesses, oriented mainly to the domestic market and offering mass goods and services.
To promote agricultural producers and support through special programs the native production of meat, fruits, vegetables, essential oil and medicinal crops with high added value, including by preventing the import of fruits and vegetables with a high content of pesticides and components harmful to health .
AGAINST WIDENING INEQUALITY AND FOR INCOME FAIR
We will fight against the deepening of inequality and heavy demagoguery with social benefits, against the brazen hanging on someone else’s back of healthy and upright social layers – with hypocritical and cynical abandonment and dooming of disabled people to silent loneliness and public indifference.
We are for uncompromising enforcement of solidarity and justice in the policy of income from work and entrepreneurship, from pension for time served and age.
We will advocate for community and state support of single adults. We will put an end to social aggression and restore the dignity of defenseless old people!
FOR A FAIR TAX POLICY
We will insist on changing the one-sided tax policy, based almost entirely on indirect taxes that harm consumers and on the flat tax that protects the wealthy from fair payment of relevant taxes.
To abolish the flat tax and introduce a progressive income tax with a steep scale to tax the income and dividends of the wealthy.
For the introduction of family income taxation and a minimum family tax-free income.
For a tax policy that stimulates local small and medium-sized businesses, investments and the creation of jobs, and at the same time taxes the export of profits and national income from the country with a steep scale in order to reinvest the profits in Bulgaria.
For differentiated and lower VAT rates for food, medicines, goods for children, for books, newspapers and literature.
FOR JUSTICE THROUGH DECISIVE RETURN IN SOCIAL SYSTEMS
Deep social inequality necessitates the creation of two social systems: one public-state without additional payment for everyone (but mostly for the poor and the middle class), and the second, which is pure business and available primarily to the rich.
We will free people from the health racket that turned the Bulgarian into the “highest out-of-pocket patient” in Europe; We will fight for public health care accessible to people throughout the country without additional payment (free public health care). We will change the financing system that harms public health facilities, especially in medium and small municipalities and depopulated areas.
We will fight for free primary, primary and secondary education, and we are against the funding system where the money follows the student and private schools are subsidized by the state and/or municipal budgets.
We will insist on the consolidation of state universities into up to a dozen truly high-quality and attractive Bulgarian universities for foreigners. We will advocate for students to receive highly professional and prestigious higher education.
TO PROTECT THE NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY OF BULGARIA
We are for the European Union of sovereign national states, which adheres to the primordial values of freedom, democracy, solidarity and free movement of people and ideas, and in which Bulgaria is equal and has equal rights with other European nations.
We will fight to return to Bulgarian citizens the dignity of being equal and equal to other European citizens.
The Brussels European bureaucracy should serve the European peoples, not the other way around. We are against Europe at two or three speeds and against maintaining zones from Europe for selected countries, from which Bulgaria is excluded.
We will advocate the creation of a pan-European army to replace NATO membership
We will resist the ever-increasing pressure on our national sovereignty – from our neighbors and Great Powers and to stop encroachments on our territorial integrity and on our globally recognized borders.
We will denounce and resist the provocations against the friendship between Bulgaria and Russia – the work of ill-wishers of our Motherland!
We will fight for “Bulgaria – a zone of peace!” and “Black Sea – a zone of peace!”
FOR DIGNITY, RESPONSIBILITY AND HONESTY IN POLITICS!
Enough of parliamentary evasion of responsibility! We want the new Parliament to be united against the increasing threats to Bulgaria! We want a Government of proven patriots!
