Actor Jaroslav Dušek was born on April 30, 1961 in Prague. His parents worked at the Semafor Theatre, his father as a lighting engineer, his mother as a bar waitress. He spent his childhood in a small town in Barrandová, where he lived not only with his parents, but also with his grandmother and grandfather. “They were workers, as they were called at that time, grandfather worked as a fireman and gardener, grandmother was a housewife. In it, he played the character Saša Mašlaňa, who approached his film partner Eva Holubová with a “quality sex offer”. Anyway, this phrase wasn’t even in the script, Dušek came up with it himself.

The actor has been with her for almost forty years, and during their life together they gave birth to a son, Martin, and a daughter, Agáta. Although their relationship went through many trials, Dušek says they never experienced a real marital crisis.

“Emergency is such a complex word. Certainly, my wife and I sometimes came across different ideas and we had to change something. But that’s our business and nobody’s business.” Dušek appeared some time ago in an interview for Showtime.

One big family

Even though the actor has grown up with his children, he likes to take care of his grandchildren, and he has seven. “There are five boys and two girls,” he boasted. His daughter lives in Sázava, where the actor has a house, and his son in Jindřichovice pod Smrkem.

“He has five children with three partners. He’s such a dark father,” says the actor about his son, saying that he really likes the role of his grandfather.

No drugs, just nature

Dušek has been living a very different lifestyle for several years. He loves nature and feels that he is a part of it. In one of the interviews, he admitted that he had not seen a doctor in over thirty years, and had not even received any medicine in that long. “The idea of ​​getting vaccinated is completely unusual to me. I consider myself a wild creature,” said three years ago related to the coronavirus.

A controversial person

Thanks to his unconventional lifestyle and ideas, Jaroslav Dušek has a large community of supporters, but also many detractors. About a year ago, he appeared on the Čestmír Strakatý podcast, where he first revealed that many of his loved ones had died of cancer. Later, however, he produced an idea that caused him to be corrupted, so to speak.

“And what is cancer? So let’s ask. They died of cancer. And do you think that person will die of cancer? And I think he will die hating life. I know it. That man doesn’t like life, he doesn’t like himself.” he announced. At that time, not only some of his supporters but also friends gave up on him. For example, the actress Eva Holubová also criticized him.

However, he does not take criticism personally and is reconciled with the fact that his words will always cause emotions – both positive and negative. But the truth is that today Jaroslav Dušek is also a great inspiration. He even has his own fan group on Facebook where they love him.
