Baitas: the Moroccan family at the heart of different public policies

The Moroccan family is at the heart of various public policies, said Thursday in Rabat, the Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament, government spokesperson, Mustapha Baitas.

Government programs and projects, led by health coverage, social assistance and the housing assistance program, target the Moroccan family and confirm the Executive’s commitment to the realization of these public policies, said Mr. Baitas in response to questions from journalists during a press briefing following the Governing Council.

He also specified that substantial funds are allocated annually for this purpose, noting that the government has allocated this year nearly 25 billion dirhams (billion dirhams) to direct social assistance, nearly 10 billion dirhams to health coverage and nearly 10 billion dirhams for housing assistance, while the total budget for the health and education sectors reached nearly 107 billion dirhams.

These are significant amounts dedicated to clear and precise public policies targeting the Moroccan family, which are added to a battery of measures taken by the government, in particular to fight inflation, said Mr. Baitas.
