Burgas will host the largest forum of the creative industry in Bulgaria. The prestigious festival will take place from June 6 to 8 in the Congress Center and will gather over 500 professionals from the communication industry, representatives of creative professions, directors, producers, leading advertisers, marketing specialists, media. This was discussed at a meeting with the mayor Dimitar Nikolov, Vesela Apostolova – Deputy Chairman of BAKA, Radoslav Bimbalov – member of the Board of Directors of BAKA and Tanya Yordanova – Manager of BAKA.
“It is a pleasure for Burgas to host the XXIV edition of FARA. This is a high score for us. An event of this scale will present rich expertise in digital advertising, and will provide an opportunity for enhanced cooperation with young students from Burgas universities and artists, and this is a special emphasis in the educational policies of the municipality,” commented Mayor Nikolov.
Vesela Yordanova, director of the “Culture and Public Relations” directorate, was also present at the meeting.
The forum organized by the Bulgarian Association of Communication Agencies presents the best advertising formats and campaigns created in Bulgaria and implemented in the country or abroad.
It is aimed at the creative industries, digital arts, design and art in the public space, capacity building of those working in the industry.
Leading communication agencies will demonstrate their achievements in various categories: “Audio-visual forms and copywriting”, “Art layout and design”, “Digital forms and creative use of media”, “Campaigns” and others. FARA is also a prestigious forum for learning with international speakers and “checking the clock” with industry trends worldwide.
The festival is divided into 2 main directions: A competition program and a lecture program, which presents prominent world-level specialists who share their experience and educate the audience.
The Bulgarian Association of Communication Agencies (BAKA) was established in 1995 as an independent, voluntary public organization. As a branch organization, BAKA contributes to the establishment of advertising activity as an important and indispensable sphere in the modern market economy. The association has been a full member of the European Association of Communication Agencies (EASA) since 1996 and is a founding member of the National Council for Self-Regulation.
BAKA is the official and exclusive representative of the “International Festival of Creativity”, uniting the festivals Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Eurobest European Advertising Festival, Dubai Lynx Advertising Festival and Spikes Asia Advertising Festival. BAKA organizes with a license the awards for the effectiveness of marketing communications Effie Bulgaria. The association is the organizer of the national creative and media festival FARA.
Since January 2022, BAKA is a member of the Art Directors Club of Europe (ADCE). ADCE includes organizations from Austria, the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Slovenia, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, Iceland, Ireland, etc. ADCE’s cause is to promote diversity and creative identity among different cultures in Europe, both artistically and commercially-artistically.
