N. Androulakis: Mitsotakis should say clearly what is happening at the Ministry of the Interior, after the successive cases that affect the prestige of the state – 2024-04-28 20:41:53

The president of PASOK-Movement for Change, Nikos Androulakisfrom Amfilochia where he is completing his three-day tour of prefectures of Epirus and Western Greece, called on Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis to explain the incidents happening at the Ministry of the Interior.

“I ask Mr. Mitsotakis to tell us clearly what is happening at the Ministry of the Interior. It is unthinkable, a few weeks before the European elections, to have ongoing cases that damage the prestige of the state and the confidence of citizens in the electoral process. Immediately clear answers for both of these shocking incidents”, Mr. Androulakis emphasized in statements, on the occasion of the break-in of the office of the director of elections of the ministry.

The president of PASOK-Movement of Change pointed out that New Democracy is treacherous. “Shortly before the European elections, we learned that there was a burglary in the office of the Director of Elections of the Ministry of the Interior, and the announcement of the ministry speaks of an “alleged burglary”.

A few weeks ago, we had a new incident, which New Democracy and Mrs. Kerameos were covering up. Thousands of secret foreign voter details had been funneled through New Democracy’s Expatriate secretary to New Democracy MEPs in order to have a comparative advantage. Something that is illegal”, underlined Mr. Androulakis.
