As expected, Samsung is expected to launch a more affordable version of its premium line soon and factory production has already begun.
Expected to hit the market soon after the launch of the new generation of foldable smartphones, the Galaxy S24 FE has already received model names, which will help identify its launch in each segment of the t -world. Are they:
- SM-S721B (global version);
- SM-S721U (United States);
- SM-S721W (Korea);
- SM-S721N (Canada).
Information about the new smartphone can be considered scarce. Stronger rumors suggest that the model must have a processor Exynos 2400, but there is also a possibility that the model will have the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, present in the Galaxy S24 line. At this point, it is also almost guaranteed that it will have some features from Galaxy AI, but it is not yet known what they would be.

In March of this year, we published an article citing rumors that it should have 12 GB of RAM in all its versions, an advantage of 4 GB compared to the Galaxy S23 FE. The new Samsung smartphone should also hit the market with internal storage options of 128 GB with UFS 3.1 standard and 256 GB with the faster UFS 4.0.
To be able to launch an affordable version, Samsung has to make some changes to the original Galaxy S24 line. The most expected changes are in the cameras: recent rumors indicate that the main camera should be 50 MP. The screen must be an AMOLED 2X 6.7-inch, with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Finally, it is certain that some changes must be made to the housing materials, especially since Samsung has to reduce the production cost to reduce the final price as well.
When should the Galaxy S24 FE be released?
If it follows tradition, the Galaxy S24 FE should be presented to the world in October. The previous model will arrive in Brazil at the end of 2023 with a suggested price starting at R $ 3.999.
More information should emerge in the coming months, but it is certain that Samsung’s new smartphone will arrive only in the second half of 2024.
