A Porsche 911 GT3 RS plunged into the Snoqualmie River in the US state of Washington and sank straight to the bottom. The brand new Porsche emerged from the river in poor condition and must have taken a bit of a beating from the rocky shore as it was towed. The rear panel of the German sports car was destroyed along with the windshield, bumper and some other components. It also lost the front wheel, fender and driver’s side rearview mirror. According to the information, the owner handed over the car the previous day.
It will be impossible to restore the car to its original glory and will cost more than a new GT3 RS. The starting price of the model is 2.7 million kroner. The latest version of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS is powered by a 4.0-liter non-turbo straight six that produces 518 horsepower and can be driven up to a whopping 9,000 rpm. The top speed is around 300 km/h and the car reaches 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.
