/ world today news/ We will wait for the parliamentary procedure for handing over the mandate, said Manolova
There are significant gaps in the program of Slavi Trifonov’s cabinet project, which concern the Bulgarian’s pocket. A serious parliamentary debate on its agenda will be needed to support this project. Without raising incomes, recalculating pensions, revising electricity and heating bills, supporting young families and small businesses, we cannot support any subsequent administration. We obviously do not have and do not want to have a place on this list of positions.
This was stated by the chairman of the coalition “Stand up! Get out!” Maya Manolova in the program “The Alternative” on TV1 with host Miroliuba Benatova regarding the announced proposal for a government by Slavi Trifonov.
From Stand Up! Get out!” we have decided that we will wait for the parliamentary procedure for handing over the mandate. There will be a debate and we will ask many questions in the plenary hall. We will hear answers to these questions and take the decision of our parliamentary group. We recognize that people want stability and want government, but we also recognize that people want integrity, openness, transparency, she said.
The way in which this list was announced and the fact that the program of the project is not related to people’s expectation of a deep judicial reform is worrying. Efforts must be made to support and create a government of change that the people expect. The expectation is that there will finally be a power that will stand on the side of ordinary people and deal with their agenda, not a party agenda, added Manolova.
In a common group of supporters with GERB and DPS from “Stand Up! Get out!” we can’t see each other. The responsibility of Slavi Trifonov, who is proposing this list, which will become a cabinet project, and those who will support it, is huge, she said.
In a week or two, when the real constitutional procedure will be reached with an official submission and discussion in the parliament, everything will come out about the people on Slavi Trifonov’s list. A part of them are absolutely unknown, but this will certainly be the subject of various journalistic investigations. There is no way that if there are connections with Sarai and Peevski, this should not become clear, Manolova answered another question.
Hristo Ivanov is categorically right – in no case can any of the protest formations afford even a shadow of doubt that it is a cover for the behind-the-scenes actions of the DPS, the Sarai. This will be a grave sin against the Bulgarian people, she emphasized.
