In the United States, dozens of tornadoes have occurred in several Midwestern states since Friday evening.
With hundreds of homes and buildings damaged, the threat of tornadoes is expected to continue throughout the weekend, putting authorities and the region’s more than 50 million residents on edge.

Amid huge warnings urging residents to evacuate, a tornado rose like a mushroom cloud and covered the sky.
Tornado plumes can be seen moving left and right, and white plumes can be seen spinning across the sky.
This is a tornado that occurred in the area of Nebraska, USA, on the evening of the 26th, local time.
The area where the tornado passed was literally destroyed.
The roof of the house was torn off and the runway of the airfield was littered with debris.

“I had to leave as soon as possible to protect my children and my wife. The loudest truck noise I’ve ever heard in my life went through my house.”
Hundreds of homes and buildings were damaged in Nebraska alone.
In Omaha, where the strongest tornado hit, the airport was closed at one point and power supply to 10,000 homes was cut off.

“We saw the tornado 200 yards away. And we went to the shelter, and when we came back, the fence and the whole neighborhood were gone.”
Some were injured, but it is not yet confirmed if anyone died.
The National Weather Service said more than 60 tornadoes were reported in several states, including Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas.
More than 50 million residents are exposed to the risk of tornadoes.
He also warned that the threat of tornadoes will continue through Sunday, with multiple strong tornadoes possible, especially on Saturday.
