The Peruvian Badminton Sports Federation (FDPB) held a ceremony to reward its most outstanding athletes, Para-athletes and coaches of 2023, among whom Pilar Jáuregui, current two-time Parapan American champion, stood out.
The member of the Athlete Support Program (PAD) of the Peruvian Sports Institute (IPD) won in the categories Best Female Parabadminton Wheelchair Athlete, and Best Female Parabadminton Doubles Athlete, along with Jaquelin Burgos.
Also notable were other gold medalists at the Parapanamericanos Santiago 2023 such as Pedro Pablo de Vinatea and Giuliana Poveda; as well as Inés Castillo and José Guevara, bronze medalists at the Pan Americans.
