MPs Antti Kaikkonen and Tuomas Kettunen, who have registered for the Center’s presidential race, will meet in the Center’s party council.
The center chooses Annika Saarikko successor as the new chairman at the party meeting in Jyväskylä in June. So far, two members of parliament have registered for the presidential race Tuomas Kettunen and Antti Kaikkonen.
The defense minister of the previous government, Antti Kaikko, has been considered the early favorite in the public right after Saarikko announced that he would not apply for a further term.
