According to Brigadier General Ali Bilali, who is in charge of the facility, the weapons used in the attack included Emad ballistic missiles, Pave cruise missiles, and Shahed-136 suicide drones. .

The range of the Imad ballistic missile is 1,700 km, while the range of the Shahed-136 is said to reach over 2,000 km.

Bilali said that Iran adopted a strategy of limited attack and did not use its latest missile to prevent the situation from escalating, and that Iran’s strategy was to create a deterrent force to discourage Israel from invading any Iranian territory.

Bilali emphasized that the best outcome is for Israel not to make any mistakes, and for Iran to achieve its deterrence goals without launching a single missile.

Tehran launched its missile and drone attacks on Israel on April 13 and 14 in response to a deadly attack on the Iranian embassy compound in Syria on April 1. An Israeli retaliatory strike caused explosions in central Iran on April 19.
