Santiago Nieto asks Fisel to guarantee a safe electoral environment in Querétaro

Santiago Nieto Castillo, candidate for the Senate of the Republic for the state of Querétaro, as Morena’s standard bearer, requested the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for the Attention of Electoral Crimes (Fisel) to carry out a ministerial deployment in that entity in order to “guarantee a fair and secure electoral, in order to prevent and inhibit any possible irregularity”, on June 2 in the face of possible illegal acts by the National Action Party (PAN).

Likewise, he announced that he has already filed a lawsuit for moral damage against Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, Roberto Gil Zuarth and other members of the PAN, “another complaint for disclosure of confidential data and I will file a new complaint for illicit enrichment by all of this group,” he said when he went to the Fisel headquarters in Mexico City.

The former head of the Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF) reported that he went to the office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) to request the cancellation of the investigation files initiated against him due to complaints made by the former’s lawyers. governor of Tamaulipas, the PAN member Francisco García Cabeza de Vaca, considered a fugitive from Mexican justice.

In this context, Nieto Castillo pointed out that the lawyers of the former governor of Tamaulipas filed complaints against him before the Fisel and the Attorney General’s Office of Querétaro, for the alleged commission of electoral crimes, “they accused me of altering the Federal registry of Voters, because as you said, false information had been given regarding a property that is located in San Juan del Río and of which I am a co-owner, whose data appears on my voting credential.

I have presented to the head of the Fisel, José Agustín Ortiz Pinchetti, a document, accompanied by certified copies of the TEPJF ruling that recognizes my origin in the state of Querétaro and that recognizes my effective residence of which I am co-owner with my sisters. , since the property was donated to us by my father.

“I trust the electoral institutions and I have requested that Fisel not exercise criminal action so that I can close that investigation file and proceed with the electoral campaign, since Cabeza de Vasca’s lawyers left me 15 days away from the campaign. “They pressured the national leadership of the PAN and the government of Querétaro to file lawsuits against me.
