Two major gala concerts will be presented by Raina Kabaivanska in September, announced the New Bulgarian University (NBU), where she leads a master class.
The concerts will also feature the best performers from her Ninth International Master Class.
The concert in Sofia will take place on September 24 and will open the music season in the capital. On September 27, Kabaivanska will sing in her hometown – Burgas. Her concert there will be dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of Giacomo Puccini, and the great composer’s granddaughter – Simonetta Puccini – will arrive specially from Italy for the event. The composer’s life and work will be presented in a special exhibition.
The ninth international master class at the New Bulgarian University will take place from September 10 to 23. The application deadline is September 5. Candidates will be auditioned on September 9. The training will be in the capital hall “Bulgaria”.
