Indonesian Volleyball Association (PBVSI) Central Board Chairman, Imam Sudjarwo, said that as Indonesia’s top volleyball tournament, the 2024 PLN Mobile Proliga will be exciting, tight and exciting as it includes the best clubs in the country.
He also hopes that the clubs participating in this competition will be able to show their best and sportsmanlike performance during the competition.

“PBVSI is always concerned that we hold this (competition) every year with the best teams. This Proliga is also a preparatory event for the Asian Club Volleyball Cup (AVC) 20224 on July 23 with the participation of 16 countries,” said Imam.
Imam continued that at this event, 7 men’s teams and 7 women’s teams were present at the 2024 PLN Mobile Proliga. It was also very enthusiastic as many of the participating teams were made up of young athletes under 20 years of age.
“Everyone has seen the women’s team and the players, new people are coming in. The players are still young, some 14 years old, some 15, 17, 18, all young,” explained e.

PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo said that the PLN Mobile Proliga 2024 event was proof of the company’s commitment to supporting the development of volleyball athletes in Indonesia.
“This is a form of PLN’s commitment as the foster father of Indonesian volleyball to be actively involved in developing the sport of volleyball in Indonesia. The hope is that this event can produce quality athletes, so that it can improve the achievements of Indonesians. national team,” he explained.
He said that cooperation from various parties is needed for the development of volleyball. PLN’s support in the PLN Mobile Proliga is a form of PLN’s presence in promoting Indonesia’s volleyball achievements to the world level.
