Book Day in US libraries

The Library of the University of Seville, on the occasion of the celebration of Book Day, has prepared a series of actions to promote reading and the exchange of books among the university community.

Among the events that will take place, the following stand out:

• The Humanities Library will organize activities such as “blind date with a book”, “letters to writers”, a “literary passapalabra” (at 11:30 in the patio de la cristalera), book exchange, describe your book in the worst way possible, etc. Also You can visit the Library deposit at 1:00 p.m. in the morning and at 6:00 p.m. in the afternoon).
• The Library encourages you to visit EXPOBUS, the virtual exhibition portal, to learn about the exhibition “Giants on shelves”which deals with some of the most outstanding examples of Don Quixote.
• Another exhibition to take into account is organized by the Library of Architecture and Building: “Big book whether you walk or not”, dedicated to large format publications.
• The Philology Library will celebrate this special day with the presentation of its collections from the US Editorial, starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Aula de Grados.
• In the Library of Law and Labor Sciences A selection of titles will be exhibited with a background of leisure literature on crime and crime novels and another theme with a background related to the same topic but from a legal point of view.

In addition, several libraries join the initiative #book favorite, with the aim of the university community recommending books. On the other hand, for the entire comics reading community, a comprehensive collection in the FAMA catalog which brings together all the graphic novels, comics, comics, etc. in one place. organized by genre.
