Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said he had agreed with US President Joe Biden on the supply of ATACMS missile systems for Ukraine.

Direct speech: “The top four priorities are air defense, modern artillery, long-range capability, and for American aid packages to arrive as quickly as possible. Thank you, Mr. President! Thank you, Congress!
Details: In addition, the president recalled the attack on the television tower in Kharkov on April 22. Against this background, he asked his partners for more Patriot air defense systems.
Direct speech: “Russian terrorists hit Kharkov again – on the TV tower.
Just like Kharkov, different cities and communities need protection – they need “patriots”. And at the same time, everything that Russia uses as a base for terror and for its military logistics must be affected as much as possible. I am grateful to everyone in the world who is willing to help us with this, and we are working with our American partners to increase our capabilities.”
Details: It is not yet known what type of ATACMS missiles Ukraine will receive and when this will happen.
As you know, the United States moved a small batch of ATACMS with a range of 160 kilometers to Kyiv in October 2023. After this, no similar American deliveries were reported.
The requirement for the US Presidential Administration to move the long-standing ATACMS is provided in the new bill on additional funding for Kyiv, which House of Representatives approved April 20.
US Senate Democratic Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said the Senate vote for the bill on Tuesday, April 23.
