The Constitutional Court rejected the request to dispute the 2024 presidential election submitted by candidate number 01 Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and candidate pair number 03 Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.

However, three judges said they had different opinions or dissenting opinion regarding these two decisions. They are Constitutional Justice Saldi Isra, Constitutional Justice Enny Nurbaningsih, and Constitutional Justice Arief Hidayat.

In this presidential election dispute case, Anies-Muhaimin and Ganjar-Mahfud as the petitioners do not accept the results of the KPU decision on March 20 that Prabowo-Gibran won in the 2024 presidential election.

Meanwhile, the KPU is a respondent and Prabowo-Gibran is an associated party.

The MK has also received dozens of Amicus Curiae submitted by various parties, including the Chairman General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri. 48 Amicus Curiae were filed in this case as of Friday (19/4). This number is the largest number in the history of the Constitutional Court handling PPU cases.
