The second part of the Fantastic Beasts saga is broadcast this Sunday April 21 on TF1. A look back at the good reasons to see the best opus of the trilogy.
1 Jude Law en Dumbledore
This is the strong point of this second film from the saga Fantastic Beasts ! A young Albus Dumbledore, mischievous and full of secrets, punctuates the plot and pushes the protagonists in different directions. The wizard of the saga Harry Potter appears here significantly younger in the guise of Jude Law, who brings an undeniable charm and charisma to the character.
With his stature and his talent for all kinds of films, Jude Law offers a unique Dumbledore, effective in each of his appearances and benefiting from the best treatment in Fantastic Beasts. Also a way of linking this saga with that ofHarry Potter and begin to detail the past of the most powerful wizard in the magical world.

2 The past of Norbert Scamander
Speaking of the past, that of Norbert Scamander, always kindly embodied by Eddie Redmayne, is also at the center of the plot. In Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018), an old relationship enters in the person of Leta Lestrange, in the guise of the fascinating Zoë Kravitz.
By making the relationships between the characters more complex and offering a more ambiguous past to Norbert, the character gains interest and fleshes out more than in the first film.

3 Magical France of the 1920s
This was the starting point of the saga: to have the characters travel to the major cities of the world at the beginning and middle of the 20th century. After New York in Fantastic Beasts (2015), London and especially Paris are shown and allow the saga to continue to exist outside of Hogwarts.
An ingenious way to develop the world of wizards (and muggles) while positing a broader and older mythology. Before Harry Potter, magic was already of great interest!
