After almost a dozen air raids and a large-scale shelling of Odessa with missiles and drones on April 10, the Day of the city’s liberation from the Nazi invaders, the power and number of terrorist attacks decreased for some time. However, over the past two days, the enemy again began to use active criminal actions in the Odessa region.
Yesterday, April 19, air raid alarms sounded six times in Odessa, the longest of which lasted more than an hour and a half. At this time, the aggressor fired at the regional center and satellite cities with drones and missiles, the consequences of the “arrival” of one of which were observed by the Krivbass team, which was traveling by club bus from the same long-suffering Krivoy Rog to Odessa for a calendar match with Chernomorets.
Observing large clouds of black smoke near the sea, the residents of Krivoy Rog thought only of one thing: to make the night and morning quiet before the important game. However, this did not happen: from the very morning the enemy repeatedly attacked the region. To understand how daring and cruel the aggression is, it is enough to give the figures for the air raids during which drone and missile attacks were carried out today, April 20:
- 05:37 – 06:31 (drone danger)
- 06:43 – 07:02 (missile danger)
- 08:22 – 08:55 (missile danger)
- 10:27 – 11:10 (missile danger)
- 11:55 – 12:59 (missile danger)
- 13:18 – 13:46 (missile danger)
Considering that the traditional pre-match meeting, which was attended by officials, representatives of clubs and all services involved in organizing the match, was held at 10 am, its participants cannot be envied. You won’t envy the Odessa fans, who once again during the war are deprived of the opportunity to watch Chernomorets play live. Due to the increased danger in recent days, the ban will also apply to today’s match.
Let us remind you that on Saturday, April 20, the match of the 25th round of the Ukrainian Premier League is scheduled to take place, in which the relationship will be sorted out by Odessa “Chernomorets” and “Krivbass” Krivoy Rog.
