Web Desk: Polling time has ended for 21 constituencies of the National and Provincial Assembly across the country, after which the counting of votes is going on.
According to the Election Commission, polling for 5 seats of the National Assembly and 16 seats of the Provincial Assembly started at 8 am and continued till 5 pm without any break.
By-elections for National Assembly seats are being held in 2 constituencies of Punjab, 2 constituencies of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and one of Sindh.
The by-elections on the seats of provincial assemblies include 12 seats of Punjab Assembly, 2 seats of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan Assembly.
Re-polling was also held in all constituencies of PB(0) (Qala Abdullah), NA 8 Bajaur and PK 22 Bajaur were postponed due to the murder of candidate Rehan Zeib Khan.
It should be remembered that yesterday it was decided to suspend mobile phone and internet services in 13 cities of Balochistan and Punjab.
