Neftohimik won away to Balkan 1980 (Planinitsa) 2-1 in a match of the AOG championship. The match was contested, with the goals falling in the first part of the match.
The Greens from Burgas took the lead in the 20th minute, after a foul in the home team’s penalty area. Denis Tokmak, who in this meeting played at the top of the attack, was tripped in front of the goal of Balkan and Slavov converted the awarded penalty into a goal.
Before the end of the half, the hosts were a man down after the last man in their defense fouled a breakaway Neftohimik striker.
Surprisingly, Balkan managed to equalize in the 41st minute after scoring an 11-meter free kick in their favor. The match was tied for only a few seconds.
Neftohimik scored another goal after a breakthrough and shot by Alex Dimitrov on the right wing. In the second half, the hosts offered a battle in the middle of the field and with great desire managed to oppose the guests from Burgas.
The Greens missed several very good opportunities for another goal, and the final whistle came with a score of 2-1 for Neftohimik.
