GOTHENBURG. Bad out against IFK Norrköping.

Then Blåvitt was saved by Elis Bishesari, 18, who is praised for rescues and fantastic feet.

– I am a midfielder when I play with the Poles. Then I hate being a goalkeeper, he explains.

The 18-year-old goalkeeper had no chance when Norrköping’s Arnór Traustason drilled in a dream free kick to make it 1-0 in the 33rd minute.

But Blåvitt got up.

In front of the eyes of Sven-Göran Eriksson – who sat in the stands after being praised before the match – Paulos Abraham equalized to make it 1-1, which was the final score.

Although Beijing received a penalty.

The penalty came in the 60th minute after “Totte” Nyman fell over in a duel with Anders Trondsen, who also received his second yellow card and was sent off.

Tim Prica took the penalty, but Elis Bishesari saved.

– It was pure gut feeling, says the Gothenburg goalkeeper whom Blåvitt recruited from BP in 2023.

Jens Askou:

– Bishesari plays a very good match with many fine saves. He has feet, especially his left foot, which add a dimension to our game, says the Blåvitträner.

“How old is he?”

The story fills in:

– He saves Blåvitt today. It is extremely strong.

Sebastian Ohlsson, right back in Gothenburg, was deeply impressed.

– What to say? He is brutal! It’s not just the rescues. He has calmed down. How old is he?

18.

– Oh, Lord… he has been much better than I thought. He takes down posts and everything that creates calm in a team. Fantastic effort. He has really pleasantly surprised me that he is so nice in the air. You feel no anxiety.

“Hate being a goalkeeper”

In the mixed zone, Bishesari explains where his good feet come from.

– I was an outfield player until I was 8-9 years old in AIK. Then my father saw me in goal once and then he thought I could be a goalkeeper. It is his merit.

How much do you train your feet and that technique?

– It’s not that much (in IFK Göteborg), it’s mostly during the holidays. Then I play football with my pals up in Stockholm, 10 against 10. Then I hate being a goalkeeper, he says with a broad smile.

– Then I am a midfielder and distribute balls.

Game dealer, then?

– Yes Yes. I’m always an outdoor player with my friends. It’s extra training. Sometimes there are some BP players with us, some born in 05. We run in the Grimstat tent.

Would you like to score penalties and free kicks too?

– Unfortunately, I have not tested that. I’ll have to try it out in practice.

You wouldn’t hesitate to take a penalty in a penalty shootout?

– No, I wouldn’t do that, says Elis Bishesari.
