The Israeli military has released photos showing attacks by the Jewish State Defense Forces on several Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. The IDF says the footage shows attacks on an observation post and military facilities. Tensions between Hezbollah and the IDF have risen since Hamas and Islamic Jihad, Palestinian groups backed by Iran, attacked Israel on October 7, triggering a devastating Israeli offensive in Gaza that has continued for more than six months. Hezbollah immediately began hitting Israeli targets, triggering a second-front war, while Iranian-backed militias in Iraq, Syria and Yemen fired missiles and drones at Israel. Hezbollah is one of the most powerful forces in the region, with tens of thousands of experienced fighters and a large arsenal of weapons.
