(ANSA) – MONZA, APRIL 20 – “Liar, with a strong tendency to lie” and capable of manipulating people with “unscrupulous lucidity”. This is how Tiziana Morandi, 49, was defined by the judges of the Court of Monza in the reasons for the sentence of 16 years and 5 months for having deceived and robbed, after having drugged them, 9 men between 27 and 84 years old contacted online. In the reasons filed yesterday, on the ‘mantis of Brianza’ resident in Roncello (Monza), as anticipated by Corriere della Sera and Il Giorno, the judges had no doubts: no psychiatric disorder, but a serial “indicator of social danger” of the woman, who with “coldness of mind” committed the crimes that led to the conviction. Morandi, according to what emerged during the trial, after an initial contact through Facebook, pushed the unfortunate person on duty to a meeting, passing himself off as a masseuse. At that point she managed to slip some benzodiazepines into his coffee or drink and then rob him, with the result that in at least one case one of the victims then got back into the car and went off the road. Lawyer Angelo Leone, Morandi’s defender, has already announced the appeal. (HANDLE).
