Two more amendments concern the economic aid to Ukraine included in Johnson’s project: Spartz offers exclude mention of more than $7.8 billion in loan assistance and forbid to the US president to write off Ukraine’s debt under certain conditions.

Fourth Amendment Congresswoman excludes from the US Department of Health’s $481 million refugee funding package, and the fifth offers prohibit the use of funds under the FMF program (ordering weapons directly from manufacturers for the needs of a US ally) to “countries affected by the war in Ukraine”.

Spartz previously stated that refuses to support in Congress, other funding for Kyiv, except for lethal aid, and puts forward measures to protect the US border as a condition.

As reported, the support package for Ukraine, which was introduced by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, on Wednesday, provides for the allocation about 61 billion dollars to help Ukraine and its allies. The final vote on the draft laws must take place until the evening of Saturday, April 20.

US President Joe Biden expressed his readiness to sign the bills introduced by Mike Johnson if Congress approves them.
