Big smiles and dazzling outfits, the queens had a star aura. Queen Maxima of the Netherlands invited Queen Letizia of Spain to the Amsterdam Spanish Film Festival on Thursday April 19. Both expressed their complicity on the doorstep of the Royal Theater Tuschinski, one of the most beautiful cinema buildings in the world.
The two queens were traveling on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the event, highlighting Spanish and Latin American cinema. Earlier in the day, they honored a commitment on a completely different theme. They went to LAB6, a center dedicated to young people, offering cultural and sporting activities, to discuss mental health in the presence of the Mind Us association, responsible for listening to and supporting young people experiencing difficulties, including the president honorary happens to be Queen Maxima.

A sumptuous state dinner given the day before
The day before, the four crowned heads met in the sumptuous Burgerzaal room of the Royal Palace in Amsterdam for the state dinner offered by the Dutch royal couple to their Spanish counterparts. In great beauty, the two queens showed off magnificent evening dresses and precious tiaras. The eldest King and Queen of the Netherlands, Hereditary Princess Catharina-Amalia, future Queen, was celebrating her first state dinner.
