A lost girl was reunited with her family on the afternoon of this Saturday, April 14, after more than three days searching for her relatives.
The case of the little girl, around 4 years old, became known through social networks on Thursday the 12th of this month, when the girl was found walking alone on a street in Havana.
The woman who found her, Yoli Rodríguez, stated that she was unable to communicate with her, as she seemed not to even know her own name, much less her address.
For this reason, he turned to social networks, and on his profile he published an image of the little girl, hoping that someone would recognize her and tell her family.
Rodríguez stated that the girl did not speak, she did not know how to say her parents’ name, where she lived, any telephone number, or her own full name. The situation raised awareness about how it is necessary to teach children their basic information from a young age, in case they get lost.
The case went viral on networks, and finally the dissemination bore fruit, as the little girl’s relatives were found, as reported by Yoli Rodríguez herself through her profile.
In his post, he explained that he took her to the police and that she was able to reunite with her family, so she is now at home. She also thanked everyone who stayed tuned and helped share.
However, he did not share details about where the girl was from, nor did he ultimately reveal her identity.
