The Givova Scafati announces that it has early terminated the contract that binds it to the American athlete Demetre Rivers. The twenty-nine-year-old winger and his agency have in fact asked the yellow-blue club to allow him to be released early, having received an important salary offer from Zalgiris Kaunasa Lithuanian club coached by the Italian Andrea Trinchieristill in the running to win the national title.
In response to the request received directly from the player and his agents, given the important opportunity for professional growth that has emerged, also with a view to earning the Lithuanian association’s engagement for the next competitive season and therefore participating in the next Euroleaguethe owners and management of the Viale della Gloria club have decided to satisfy him and bring forward the closing of the contract.
