A concert performance of the opera “Lohengrin” by Richard Wagner follows on October 18. The premieres of the operas “Prince Igor” (November), “Manon Lescaut” (February), “Attila” (March) are coming. The year of Haydn will be celebrated with the international co-production “True Constancy” (January), and in May the first opera “Rhine Gold” from Richard Wagner’s tetralogy “The Ring of the Nibelungen” will be staged – a gigantic project that within 4 years will offer the audience the remaining three parts – “Valkyrie”, “Siegfried”, “Sunset of the Gods”.
