Der Nino from Vienna presents new album ‘Last Wienerlieder’ at Posthof in Linz

“Last Wienerlieder” – the thirteenth album by Der Nino from Vienna. His Viennese songs were presented last Saturday at the Posthof in Linz.

There must have been a good 200 people on a pilgrimage to the Linz Posthof on a warm summer evening in April. “Not good, not terrible” is how you might sum up the crowd of visitors that evening. Those who came were certainly not disappointed.

Also and especially not from third hand support. “Olle Viecha Olle Fisch” is the name of the trio’s second album, with which they are currently on stage. It will be very clear why the band supports Nino from Vienna. Viennese rock, or “Viennese undeground in the best sense,” as the band writes about themselves on a well-known streaming platform. Always on stage with jokes and clever words – you are welcome to join them in support. Anyway, also in the Old Abattoir in Wels on June 22nd!

“Tears wake you up” – Nino from Vienna opened his set that night with one of his most famous songs. A set which, in addition to many classics, was also the focus of the new album. “Finally Wienerlieder” is the name of the current album by one of the busiest artists in the country. The “ausWien-Band” has also been supporting Nino from Vienna for more than ten years. A fourth that realizes itself blindly on the stage. “Waschechta Weana”, “Urlaub”, “Koarl” – new songs fit closely with the concert as if they were always there anyway. Of course there are also classics like “Taxi Driver”, dreams about “pulling against Ried” and the like. A concert by Nino from Vienna always stands out from many other concerts – unique, with the right amount of humor, musically always at the top. Hoping for many more records!
