In the Netherlands it was established that on Wednesday another fifteen minutes of Russian propaganda was shown on the toddler channel BabyTV. Perhaps this was also the case with Telenet.
According to the Dutch broadcaster NOS, Russian music videos were shown on BabyTV for at least fifteen minutes on Wednesday afternoon, interspersed with war images. The Dutch operator Ziggo then decided to put BabyTV on black until further notice.
Telenet is following suit, says spokesperson Bart Boone. According to him, it is likely that the propaganda was also shown on BabyTV via Telenet.
At the end of March, Russian propaganda already appeared between the programs on BabyTV. Hackers then disrupted the signal at the satellite company Eutelsat, which sends the signal from the transmitter to the telecom providers.
