MUNICIPALITY OF IOANNITON
The municipality of Ioannito, as a “Healthy City” and as a member of the European Network of Healthy Cities of the World Health Organization, participates in the celebration of World Health Day.
This year’s slogan of the World Health Organization “My Health – my right” was chosen to defend everyone’s right to access quality health servicesinformation on health issues and freedom from discrimination.
In this context, the Deputy Mayor of Social Solidarity – Protection, Preschool Age, Equality, Combating Discrimination & Gender Violence, with the Health Department of the Municipality of Ioannina and with the cooperation of the Department of Medicine of the School of Health Sciences of the University of Ioannina, organizes the following events health promotion, information and equal access of citizens to health issues:
- GYNECOLOGICAL HEALTH AND PREVENTION, which will take place on Monday, April 8 at 12:00 at the Roma Branch of the Community Center of the Municipality of Ioannito, at 11 Archiepiskou Makariou Street (KEPAVI, store 118).
- GENETIC DISEASES AND HEREDITY “Citizens ask and experts answer“, which will take place on Tuesday, April 9 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hall of the Municipal Council of the City Hall of Ioannina.
