Israel identifies more than 100 Iranian drones heading into its territory – 2024-04-16 22:44:48

Police officers stand guard at a residential building destroyed in a Russian drone strike in Kyiv, Ukraine, on October 17, 2022, amid the Russian invasion. Several residential buildings were damaged as a result of ‘kamikaze drone’ attacks on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv Mayor Klitschko said. At least three people were killed, the Ukrainian president’s office said. Russian Ukrainian troops entered Ukrainian territory on February 24, starting a conflict that has caused destruction and a humanitarian crisis. The Israeli Army says it has identified “more than 100 Iranian drones” en route to Israeli territory as part of Tehran’s retaliatory attack, although it could not yet confirm whether ballistic missiles have also been launched, as reported by some media.

A military official announced early Sunday that the drones are expected to arrive in the country “in the next few hours.” EFE
